You can help shape the future of your community.
We want your involvement to not only benefit the parish of Budock but also to be fun!
Our Neighbourhood Plan is being carried out by local volunteers working in teams to gather information and canvass people’s opinions on important issues.
We need your help to make the Plan as effective as possible. So, please get involved in some way. You can –
- Join a team and help gather information,
- Sign up to help with leafletting,
- Respond to the questionnaires,
- Talk to your neighbours,
- Share your views on Facebook.
Our team includes residents from a range of ages and backgrounds with everyone welcome to join in.
This is your opportunity to learn more about our area, to celebrate the things you love about it, and identify improvements for the future.
Working as part of a team of local residents it is also gives you an opportunity to contribute to the surrounding community, develop your personal interests and hobbies, meet new friends and learn something completely new.
As the Plan progresses we expected more teams to develop but at this stage we have the following groups which everyone is welcome to join:
Natural Environment (Bats, Bees, Plants, Wildlife, Hedges, Woods, Moors, Marshes, Biodiversity)
Heritage (Old crosses, Saints, Finger posts, Milestones, Footpaths and stiles, Field boundaries, Place-names)

Housing Development (Housing allocations, Building styles, Development land, Density, Public access)
